According to her, the university received permission to operate the FM radio station through a letter from the NBC addressed to Kazeem Adebiyi, the institution’s rector, and bearing the reference number NBC/SEC/LIC/19/VOL.iv, dated May 22, 2023.
According to Fawale, the letter from the Director General’s secretary to the commission, Igomu Onoja, noted that the license was only temporary while the institution made all necessary payments for the commission-submitted application to operate a radio station.
