The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has warned parents to be watchful and look for little, ornamental bottles in their children’s purses or pockets.
This was revealed in a statement released on Sunday by the Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi.
He revealed that the bottles are reportedly being used to package a substance known as Loud/Colos, which is popular among youths in Lagos’ affluent areas of Lekki, Ikoyi, and Victoria Island, and that the substances are expensive, with each bottle fetching around 15,000 Naira.
“Heads up to parents,” he wrote. Please keep an eye out for these whimsical tiny bottles in your children’s bags/pockets.
“They’re now being used to package Loud/Colos for our youths, especially those in the Lekki/Ikoyi/VI axis of Lagos.
“Each goes for 15k. #ndlea_nigeria already making arrests & seizures”
