The Niger State Government has received an additional 50 CNG buses, bringing the total to 250.
As previously reported, 100 of these buses will operate on the Suleja-Abuja route at discounted fares, while the remaining buses will offer intra-state services, also at reduced prices.
The buses will provide free transportation for school children within the state capital.
Civil servants will have access to the buses at discounted rates for travel between designated bus stops and the state secretariat.
Additionally, it is worth noting that NNPC is constructing CNG/LPG stations in Lambata, Tafa, Bida, and Mokwa, with the state government planning to build one in Kontagora.
