The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, is set to host the Irish Ambassador to Nigeria, His Excellency Mr. Peter Ryan, to his kingdom.
According to reports, Chief Eugene Ikomi serves as the Secretary to the Warri Council of Chiefs and holds the title of Olulaye in the kingdom. He mentioned that the Ambassador’s arrival will be celebrated with a vibrant event at the palace scheduled for 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
According to reports, it was learned that this visit will further strengthen the already strong relationship between Warri kingdom and Ireland.
It’s worth recalling that the esteemed monarch previously hosted the Finnish Ambassador, Leena Pylvanainen, last year. During that visit, discussions centered on matters of mutual interest to the kingdom and Finland.
