Yemi Osinbajo, the vice president, is taking part virtually in the Federal Executive Council meeting after being released from the Duchess hospital in Lagos.
According to earlier reports, Osinbajo underwent surgery on his femur.
Laolu Akande, Osinbajo’s Senior Special Assistant on Media, claimed the law professor was hurt after playing squash.
A team of six specialized doctors performed the treatment, according to a statement made by Dr. Adedoyin Dosunmu-Ogunbi, Medical Director of the Duchess Hospital.
On Wednesday, Laolu Akande announced that the Vice President attended the FEC meeting virtually in a tweet using his official Twitter account.
He tweeted, “VP Osinbajo joins Federal Executive Council meeting this morning virtually. President Buhari is presiding.”
