[PHOTOS]Osinbajo visits Niger state, meets APC delegates behind closed door
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo paid a private visit to Minna, Niger State, on Wednesday, where he met with All Progressives Congress (APC) delegates.
After arriving in Minna, he met privately with the Emir of Minna, Umar-Faruk Bahago, at his palace before proceeding to the Government House to meet with the delegates.
Senator Babafemi Ojudu, the Vice President’s Political Adviser on Political Matters, told the delegates that the Vice President views them as partners in progress rather than followers.
Ojudu also informed them that plans are in place to ensure the comfort of all delegates during the presidential primary scheduled for Abuja.
Osinbajo’s visit comes just six days after APC leader Bola Tinubu paid a visit to Minna.
