Two individuals lost their lives after consuming a herbal concoction during a festival in Isua-Akoko, Akoko South East Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The creator of the concoction, Alex Ojulewa, and Samuel Alonge, a middle-aged man who had come from Abuja to attend the festival, began vomiting and subsequently died en route to the hospital after consuming the concoction on Saturday.

A third person who also consumed the concoction is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital.
The Ondo State Police Command confirmed the incident on Tuesday.
In a phone interview, the Public Relations Officer of the Ondo State Police Command, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, stated that the police are investigating to determine the cause of their deaths.
