The body of a sex worker named Ms. Confidence was discovered inside her room in a popular brothel in Ughelli, Delta State’s Ughelli North Local Government Area.

According to information obtained, the occurrence from last Thursday has caused commotion in the neighborhood as a result of the panicked coworkers of the deceased who are alleged to have fled the scene.
One of the sources told newsmen that “her colleagues were waiting for her outside as they were looking for customers but they didn’t see her”.
“They now went to knock at her door and it was when they opened the door that they found her dead in her room.”
She was “stabbed in the stomach and strangled,” according to DSP Bright Edafe, the police public relations officer for Delta State Command, who confirmed the event when reached.
The PPRO confirmed that the police had opened an inquiry into the incident despite the fact that no arrests had been made as of yet.
