The Supreme Court has dismissed Senator Smart Adeyemi’s appeal against the lower courts’ decision on the All Progressives Congress governorship primary election in Kogi State.
Adeyemi had sought the courts to overturn the APC’s primary election, which produced Usman Ododo as the party’s candidate for the state’s upcoming governorship race.
The court, in a judgment delivered on Monday by Justice Emmanuel Agim, also ordered that the sum of N1m be paid to the first and third respondents in the matter.
