Tinubu appoints Alabo George as DG of BCDA

The appointment of Dr. Dakorinama Alabo George as the Director-General of the Border Communities Development Agency (BCDA) has been approved by President Bola Tinubu.

The appointment of Geroge was declared in a statement endorsed by Ajuri Ngelale, the media aide to President Tinubu, on Thursday.

George, a former commissioner for works in Rivers State, possesses the following academic credentials: a B.Tech in Quantity Surveying; a PhD in Construction Management; and an MSc in Quantity Surveying and Construction Engineering.

In addition to belonging to the Association of Strategy Professionals, USA, he is a fellow of the Certified Institute of Practising Professionals and a member of several other prestigious organisations.

Ngelale stated that the President anticipates the newly appointed Director-General to carry out his responsibilities with honesty, hard work, and commitment in order to ensure the efficient operation of the agency and the effective management of vital policies and programmes that align with the goals of the Renewed Hope Agenda for the development of border communities.
