Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Aliko Dangote on his birthday, praising his far-reaching contributions to Nigeria’s economy and industrial growth.

In a statement released on Friday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described Dangote as a visionary entrepreneur whose investments have helped position Nigeria as a major centre for large-scale manufacturing.

Tinubu highlighted the Dangote Group chairman’s role in driving economic development not only in Nigeria but across Africa, noting that his resilience, innovation, and dedication have led to landmark projects such as the Dangote Refinery and petrochemical complex, alongside cement plants spread across several African nations.

He said these ventures have boosted industrial capacity, created jobs, and supported infrastructure development nationwide.

“I salute Aliko for his conglomerate’s role in job creation, infrastructure development, and unwavering belief in the Nigerian economy and its potential,” Tinubu said, describing the billionaire as a shining example of African enterprise.

The President also acknowledged Dangote’s philanthropic efforts through the Dangote Foundation, noting its impact in areas such as healthcare, education, and poverty reduction.

Tinubu added that Dangote’s achievements continue to inspire emerging entrepreneurs across the continent, reinforcing his influence on Africa’s economic future.

He concluded by wishing the industrialist continued good health, wisdom, and even greater accomplishments in service to Nigeria, Africa, and humanity.
