President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences following the death of Pastor Patience Umo Eno, the wife of Akwa Ibom Governor Umo Eno.

As a reminder, the state Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememobong, announced the First Lady’s passing in a statement released in the early hours of Friday.

Ememobong indicated that she died on Thursday in a hospital, surrounded by her family.

In a statement issued on Friday, President Tinubu described her death as “shocking” and conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the Governor, the Eno family, and the people of Akwa Ibom State.

The statement, signed by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy, highlighted President Tinubu’s condolences to the Governor and the citizens of Akwa Ibom during this challenging time.

He recognized Pastor Patience Umo Eno’s dedicated service to the state, particularly through her ‘Golden Initiative for All,’ which positively affected the lives of women, children, and vulnerable individuals.
