The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State on Saturday held its presidential primary across all 332 wards, with President Bola Tinubu receiving strong backing from party members.

Top party figures, including the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, and the APC governorship candidate in the state, Bola Oyebamiji, also took part in the exercise in their respective wards.

Oyetola voted in Iragbiji Ward 1, where he was accompanied by a large turnout of supporters, while Oyebamiji participated in the process at Ward 9 in Ikire, where delegates openly affirmed support for Tinubu’s candidacy ahead of the 2027 elections.

The exercise was largely peaceful across the state, including areas monitored in Osogbo and Olorunda Local Government Areas. Supporters of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors served as ward-level agents for the President during the voting process.

Reports also indicated that the second aspirant in the contest, Stanley Osifo, was largely absent in terms of representation in several polling units observed in Osogbo.
