A video making the rounds on social media has sparked widespread reactions after a pastor of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) and members of his congregation were seen singing a song openly declaring support for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In the viral clip, the pastor led the congregation in a call-and-response chant, singing in Yoruba, “Bi won ba fe ku, ki won ku” (meaning, “If they want to die, let them die”), before asking, “Ta lo fe dibo fun?” (“Who do you want to vote for?”).
The congregation responded loudly in unison: “APC!”
The chant was repeated several times, drawing cheers from worshippers inside the church.
The video has since generated intense debate across social media, with many Nigerians expressing mixed reactions. While some viewed the moment as a harmless political expression, others questioned whether political messages should be openly promoted during church services.
The clip continues to trend online as conversations around the role of religious institutions in politics gather momentum ahead of the Osun State governorship election.
