Verydarkman break silence on alleged Tinubu’s audio, blasts presidential spokesman

Social media commentator Verydarkman has reacted strongly to a viral audio controversy allegedly linked to him, while also taking aim at presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga over his comments on the issue.

In a video shared online, Verydarkman said he was in a business meeting when he began receiving urgent calls from friends alerting him to a post made by the presidential spokesman concerning the viral voice note.

He expressed disappointment with officials in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, arguing that more attention should be given to pressing national security challenges rather than online disputes.

The activist referenced reported kidnappings of teachers and schoolchildren in Oyo State, questioning the lack of stronger public and official reactions to the situation.

He also lamented the uncertainty surrounding the victims, especially on Children’s Day, stressing concern about their safety and wellbeing.

Verydarkman further alleged that the focus on the viral audio was an attempt to target or silence him, insisting that insecurity and kidnappings should be treated as higher national priorities.
