Mary Earps said that her performance was not much comfort after England’s heartbreaking 1-0 defeat to Spain in the 2023 Women’s World Cup final. The 30-year-old goalkeeper said that she and her teammates had come to win the tournament and that settling for a silver medal was not good enough after giving their all.
