The Senate on Thursday adjourned its plenary for four weeks.
Senate President Bukola Saraki announced on Thursday that Senate will resume plenary on Tuesday, July 3.

However, the Senate President noted that during the recess, committees may sit or continue their work.
Saraki did not formally state any reason for the long break which will cover the period of the Islamic Eid-el-Fitri holiday.
The festival is expected to hold mid-June.
