A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC and Commissoner, Federal Character Commission, Akogun Bunmi Ojo has been shot dead In Ekiti State.

Ojo, who served as the Personal Assistant to former Governor of Ekiti State, Segun Oni between 2008-2010 was reported assassinated at a Football Viewing Center in the state capital at around 8.30 on Friday Evening while watching the English Premier League match between Manchester United and Leicester City.
The deceased was said to be watching football alongside some friends at a popular barbing salon at the Adebayo Area of Ado Ekiti when he was shot in the head at close range
The late Bunmi Ojo was born on the 1st of November, 1966 and left behind a Wife and three children.
