We’ll complete all ongoing projects, Amosun reassures
The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has again assured the people of the state that his administration would complete all ongoing projects across the state before the end of his tenure.
Amosun gave the assurance while speaking with journalists on Thursday after inspecting the ongoing construction of flyover and health centre at station in Ijebu-Igbo, as well as the construction of the over 22km Ogijo-Ikorodu road, all in Ogun East Senatorial District of the State.
The Governor disclosed that the ongoing road construction at Ilishan/Ago-Iwoye road, Ijebu-Igbo road as well as Ikangba-Ilese-Itele road in Ijebu-Ode, would be completed as scheduled, just as Alagbada road, Ifo township roads, and Owu-Ikija road, all in Ogun Central Senatorial District would be fixed to standard.
Speaking on his administration’s plan for Ogun West, the Governor said, “its like saving the best for the last,” assuring that Ilogbo, Ado-Odo and Ilaro-Owode roads with an underpass would be completed in record time.
The Governor added that some of the road constructions like that of Igbesa and Atan-Agbara would be under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP), adding that a law would soon be put in place to encourage companies operating in the State to support Government’s effort at rebuilding the state.
While emphasizing the importance of good health in life of the people, Governor Amosun reassured that more health centres would be renovated to standard, while others would be reconstructed to give people access to adequate healthcare services.
