Declan Rice finally found the back of the net for Arsenal in their 3-1 win over Manchester United on Sunday, weeks after joining the north London club.

The English international made a move from West Ham United to join the Gunners in the recently concluded summer transfer window.

Reports indicate that Arsenal spent a staggering £105 million to acquire the services of the exceptionally talented midfielder.

Rice proceeded to sign a five-year contract at the Emirates, committing to the club until 2028. Nevertheless, he had to patiently wait until Sunday, September 3rd, to score his first goal for his new team against Manchester United.

In the initial three fixtures of the new season, the Englishman had struggled to score for Arsenal.

However, during added time, Rice finally managed to find the back of the net after receiving a pass from Bukayo Saka.

Meanwhile, Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard both found the back of the net as Arsenal secured a convincing victory over Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium.

The visitors took the lead in the 27th minute with a goal from Marcus Rashford, but Odegaard quickly equalized just two minutes later

Alejandro Garnacho, who entered the match as a substitute, believed he had secured the victory for United. However, VAR ruled out his effort.

Rice then went on to score, making it 2-1 for Arsenal, before Gabriel Jesus sealed the game for the Red Devils.
