Tottenham Hotspur have officially appointed Roberto De Zerbi as their new head coach.
According to Fabrizio Romano’s post on X on Tuesday, De Zerbi has agreed to take over the team immediately, signing a five-year contract to lead Spurs in both the Premier League and European competitions.
The post stated, “Tottenham agree deal to appoint Roberto De Zerbi as new head coach, here we go! Story revealed yesterday, now confirmed as De Zerbi has accepted the #THFC job with immediate effect. Five-year deal set to be signed as De Zerbi decides to accept this challenge.”
De Zerbi starts his tenure immediately, as Tottenham aim to strengthen their squad and compete at the highest levels domestically and in Europe under his guidance.
Report stated earlier that Spurs had actively pursued De Zerbi as their next head coach following the departure of Igor Tudor, adding another twist to what has already been a turbulent season at Tottenham Hotspur.
