Erling Haaland scored his 20th goal of the season as he hit a brace in Manchester City’s 1-3 thrashing of Leeds United away from home on Wednesday.
With the victory, City have now moved second of the table, five points adrift of leader Arsenal.
Rodri opened scoring for the visitors on first half added time. He fired the rebound low into the middle of the goal after the ball breaks to him in the box.
Haaland made it 0-2 for City on 52nd minute. A skilful piece of play and pass by Jack Grealish left the keeper on his backside and presented Haaland with the easiest goal, tapping into an unguarded net.
The City striker got his brace on 65th minute to take his goal tally to 20. He received a brilliant pass inside the box from Jack Grealish, and he beat the goalkeeper with a low accurate shot into the middle of the goal.
Leads pulled on back on 74th minute through Pascal Struijk.
He jumped highest inside the box to meet a perfectly executed corner kick by Sam Greenwood. His header was precise and ended up inside the right post, leaving the goalkeeper flapping in the wind.
