Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé has expressed that he does not want Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to win the UEFA Champions League this season.

Mbappé revealed that his preference is for Real Madrid to secure the prestigious European title ahead of his former club, PSG.

The French international, who transferred from PSG to Real Madrid during the summer transfer window, extended his good wishes to the Ligue 1 club for their Champions League campaign.

Despite his illustrious career, Mbappé, 25, has yet to win the Champions League. He notably featured in the 2020 final, where PSG suffered a 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich.

When asked during an interview with Clique TV if he hopes PSG wins the Champions League, Mbappé responded: “Do I want PSG to win UCL? Right now? No, I want to win with Madrid.

“But I wish them the best at PSG. I hope that one day they will win the Champions League.

“But not now, because I have to win a little (laughs).”
