Samuel Mbangula curled in a stunning equaliser two minutes into stoppage time to rescue a point for Juventus in their 2-2 draw against Bologna on Saturday.
The result leaves Juventus sixth in Serie A, seven points behind leaders Atalanta. However, it could have been worse for the Bianconeri, as Bologna seemed poised for victory at the Allianz Stadium.
Dan Ndoye opened the scoring for the visitors with a skilful finish from a tight angle after 30 minutes, and Tommaso Pobega doubled their advantage seven minutes into the second half.
Juventus finally sparked into life when Teun Koopmeiners pulled a goal back 10 minutes later, but despite relentless pressure, it appeared they were on course for their first league defeat of the season.
With time running out, second-half substitute Mbangula received a pass on the edge of the Bologna box and expertly placed a shot beyond goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski, ensuring a dramatic finish.
Earlier in the day, Genoa and Torino played out a goalless draw in a mid-table encounter, while AS Roma are set to face Lecce in Saturday’s late fixture.
