According to Thomas Tuchel, the new manager of Bayern Munich, teams in England and Europe are averse to playing the German team.
This was said by Tuchel on Saturday during his formal introduction.
In place of Julian Nagelsmann, who was fired by Bayern on Friday. Tuchel was the former Chelsea manager.
The first conversation between Tuchel and the Bundesliga champions took place on Tuesday, Tuchel has now acknowledged.
“On Tuesday evening I started thinking about the squad.
“In England and in Paris, they rate Bayern extremely highly.
“Nobody wants to play against Bayern Munich. The size, the strength of the club is undisputed,” Tuchel said.
Bayern will face Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
The ties will see Tuchel come up against Pep Guardiola, who he beat to the trophy in 2021.
