Paris 2024: Men’s Olympics football fixtures

The men’s football tournament at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris promises to be an exhilarating event, with 16 teams from around the world competing in seven cities across France.

Knockout Stages:

The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals on August 2, followed by the semifinals on August 6. The gold medal match is scheduled for August 9 at the Parc des Princes in Paris.

Reports state that the previous men’s football tournament at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo (held in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic) featured impressive performances.

Brazil won the tournament, securing their second consecutive Olympic gold medal and their third overall by defeating Spain 2-1 in the final.

Due to the pandemic, the 2020 tournament was held in a bubble environment, with matches played across various stadiums in Japan, including Tokyo, Saitama, and Yokohama.

Brazil’s victory was marked by standout performances from players like Matheus Cunha and Richarlison, who were pivotal throughout the tournament.
