President Buhari, Dalung mourn Moses Iloh

President Muhammadu Buhari and sports minister Solomon Dalung have expressed sadness over the passing of former Cycling Federation of Nigeria president Moses Iloh.

The General Overseer of Soul Winning Chapel died on Sunday.

Buhari in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Femi Adesina condoled with the deceased’s family, friends, associates and the Christian community in Nigeria.

Buhari said Illoh, who he described as a philanthropist, labour leader, humanist, sportsman and great teacher of the gospel, would be long remembered and honoured as a worthy patriot.

In his statement, Dalung said Iloh contributed immensely to the development of cycling in the country.

He said, “This is sad news to the sports fraternity, especially now that we need experienced sports administrators to assist us in rescuing some sports that are almost moribund and dying gradually. Rev Iloh was a seasoned sports administrator who had deep passion for cycling.”
