Bukayo Saka sustained an injury to his right leg during England’s 2-1 defeat to Greece at Wembley on Thursday.
The Arsenal forward was substituted in the 51st minute and replaced by Chelsea winger Noni Madueke.
Saka, 23, was seen stretching and clutching the back of his right leg before eventually sitting on the pitch after Greece took the lead through Vangelis Pavlidis.
England’s interim head coach, Lee Carsley, commented: “He’s being assessed. You can see in the build-up to the first goal that he felt something in his leg.”
The Three Lions were also missing injured duo Harry Kane and Jack Grealish, though both are expected to be available for Sunday’s match against Finland.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are already dealing with the absence of captain Martin Odegaard, who picked up an ankle injury while playing for Norway in September.
The Gunners will resume Premier League action on 19 October when they face Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium.
