Bafana Bafana of South Africa head coach Hugo Broos on Monday announced his final 25-man squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Broos selected the squad from the initial 55-man provisional list he released two weeks earlier.
The lineup largely maintains continuity from the AFCON 2023 bronze-medal campaign while also incorporating emerging talents who earned their spots through impressive club performances.
The players are set to assemble on 8 December before heading to Morocco, where they will aim for a historic second continental title.
South Africa will kick off their AFCON 2025 campaign against the Palancas Negras of Angola on 22 December, followed by a clash with the Pharaohs of Egypt four days later.
Broos’ team will conclude their Group B matches against the Warriors of Zimbabwe on 29 December.
The squad will complete final preparations in camp before the coach finalizes his matchday lineups for the group stage.
