On the African continent, Nigeria remain third, behind Atlas Lions of Morocco and Teranga Lions of Senegal. Morocco occupy eighth place globally, while Senegal, despite dropping two spots, are ranked 14th.
At the top of the global standings, France national football team have moved ahead of Spain national football team to claim the number one position.
The next FIFA men’s world ranking is scheduled to be released on June 10, 2026.
