Nigeria’s senior national team, the Super Eagles, will commence camping on March 24, 2026, in Antalya, as part of preparations for a four-nation invitational tournament originally scheduled to take place in Jordan.

The team is set to play two international friendly matches during the competition, starting with a clash against Iran on Friday, March 27, before facing the host nation, Jordan, on Tuesday, March 31.

Both fixtures will now be held in Antalya following the relocation of the tournament from Jordan due to ongoing military tensions in parts of the Middle East.

The change of venue was necessitated by security concerns affecting the originally selected stadiums in Amman.

Nigeria will open their campaign against Iran at 4:00 p.m. local time and conclude their matches against Jordan with an 8:00 p.m. kick-off.

The tournament is expected to offer the Super Eagles valuable competitive preparation ahead of the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, as the team continues to build cohesion and evaluate squad depth.

Nigeria last competed at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, where they faced Egypt national football team in the third-place play-off.
