A firm, Quickhelp Nigeria, has launched an app to aid business transactions. It is an arm of Quickhelp Africa whose goal is to showcase businesses on the continent to the world.
According to the firm, the Quickhelp app has Artificial Intelligence (AI), with which one gets businesses close, checks traffic, buys airtime, discover people and places, and do all business activities in the Nigerian style just as it is with humans.
Speaking at the app launch in Lagos, the Chief Executive Officer, Quickhelp Nigeria, Tosin Odubela, said the firm has the backing of the 1001 Squared AI Global Canada, a social enterprise with the goal to facilitate and advance the use of AI applications to enhance and improve the quality of business transactions.
He said: “Quickhelp Nigeria connects you to people, can get you a business contacts and also take you to them by giving you direction. It takes voice commands with Web version and Chrome. The application gets you Job and also helps you meet people from all over the world.
“QuickHelp can rapidly help boost businesses. Premium business entries enjoy instant notification of service requests, advert opportunities on the SMS platform on the website or on the mobile app.”
“The app can be used in education especially in the underprivileged and under-served areas of the world can teach our students different subjects and gets them to know the constitution. Quickhelp is intended to be trained to speak Nigeria languages to enable the uneducated sell their products using the app.
“While Quickhelp seems to be like Nigeria’s version of Google, it could do better than Google functions because it is localized to the country’s terrains and situations because it gives everyone, like the SMEs a chance and a lot of exposure, with everybody happy, unlike the others explained.”
Odubela stressed that the app was done with AI artificial intelligence, which was a simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems.
“The human intelligence is the mental quality that consists of the abilities to learn from experience, adapt to new situations, understand and handle abstract concepts, and use knowledge to manipulate one’s environment, all of these has been programmed into the app,” he concluded.
