Nigerian internet personality Jarvis has addressed the backlash surrounding her Maldives trip with Habeeb Hamzat, also known as Peller, responding to critics who questioned their relationship and the spending involved.
Her reaction follows the online dispute between Peller and Carter Efe, which triggered widespread conversations about priorities and family responsibilities.
In a video that has since gone viral, Jarvis insisted that her relationship with Peller is genuine and not driven by financial motives. She explained that any support she receives is rooted in love and mutual understanding.
She further stated that their relationship is serious and built on commitment, clarity, and shared direction, adding that it now has the approval of both families.
In her words: “Peller knows money cannot buy my love. Even Habeeb knows that money cannot buy Jarvis. He just spends on me because I deserve to be loved and spoiled. And yes, I deserve it. Everyone knows I never liked him spending on me before, but now I enjoy it. That’s because I did not know how defined the relationship was but now the relationship is defined.
Do you know why? Family is involved, of course. Family approved, his own side approved. So what should I be saying? ‘No, don’t spend on me. Don’t do this’? It’s approved. My mind has calmed down because I know where we are walking to, where we are leading to.
Excuse you — this is not a roadside relationship.”
