Sleeping with another man’s wife attracts curses, apologise to Frank Edoho — Nollywood actress tells Chike

Veteran Nollywood actress Shan George has reacted to the ongoing marital controversy involving media personality Frank Edoho and his estranged wife, Sandra Edoho.

In a lengthy Facebook post, the actress condemned infidelity in marriage and addressed claims that Edoho’s alleged silence or “malice” toward his wife may have contributed to the collapse of their union.

George argued that Edoho’s reported withdrawal was simply his way of processing emotional issues and avoiding confrontation, rather than a justification for infidelity.

She referenced musician Mr Eazi’s relationship, recalling how the singer once reportedly communicated marital grievances through email instead of direct conversation.

“Any man who’s joy stick rises for another man’s WIFE, has committed an unacceptable sacrilege, even if she and her man are keeping malice, or any other issues whatsoever between them, as long as the woman and her husband still reside under the same roof, it’s a No No,” she wrote.

“People keep malice wit each other everywhere, marriage, office, etc, even parents keep malice with their children sometimes. Malice is a part of life, we are all guilty of it one time or another.

“I remember not too long ago when music star Mr Easy sent his wife an email, and she complained about how he’s kept her malice over d issue for days, only to be sending her e-mail discussing d same issue. He could hv talked to her directly to talk about it, but he sent e-mail.

“Not everyone enjoys rancour or confrontations, so some pple simply keep quiet for sometime, while they process.

“One’s Approach towards such periods is what determines a win or lose in that marriage. Any form of ‘Do me I do u’ must be avoided at such times, until u resolve d issues.”

The actress strongly criticised extramarital affairs involving married women still living with their husbands.

“Traditionally, Spiritually, Morally, Romantically, and otherwise, sleeping with another man’s wife is a TUFIAKWA that carries generational curses,” she said.

“Mothers, pls tell ur sons.

“As for d ladies, pls if d marriage Taya u, after u don try all ur best, pls leave d marriage, doing asiawo inside marriage is a sacrilege.”

George also called out singer Chike, who has been linked by rumours to Sandra Edoho.

“In conclusion, Chike owes Frank Edoho and all men who’s wives he has chewed, an apology. If u like chewing older women, it’s not a crime, but pls focus on chewing d unmarried ones. mytake #Shangeorge #onelove,” she added.

Frank Edoho, popular for hosting ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’ (WWTBAM), has remained in the spotlight following recent revelations about his marriages.

He was first married to broadcaster Katherine Obiang between 2003 and 2010, and they had three children together. He later married Sandra in 2013, and the couple welcomed two children before their marriage reportedly ended in December 2022.

Edoho recently disclosed that the collapse of the marriage was “devastating” and also stated that he no longer believes in committing to only one woman.

Following the separation, rumours surfaced alleging that Sandra had cheated on him with a Nigerian singer. Sandra, however, accused Edoho of infidelity and domestic violence, including allegedly threatening her life.

On Wednesday, Edoho denied the allegations, saying the matter is now under legal investigation and that he is restricted from speaking further on certain details.

Singer Chike has yet to publicly respond to the allegations.
