The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has fixed Thursday, July 9, 2026, as the official passing-out date for 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I corps members nationwide.

This was disclosed in a statement released on Wednesday by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, and posted on the scheme’s official X account.

The statement noted that activities preceding the passing-out ceremony began on June 23.

According to the NYSC, the low-key exercise will conclude with the issuance of Certificates of National Service to qualified corps members in all local government areas across the country.

“The Management of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has approved Thursday, 9th July, 2026, as the passing-out date for the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream One Corps Members.
“The series of activities heralding the event will commence on Tuesday 23rd June, 2026, and will include Job Advisory and Counselling (JAC), by the NYSC and other relevant agencies, registration and clearing of Corps Members by Local Government Inspectors (LGIs), as well as the signing of final clearance by the Zonal Inspectors,” the statement read.

The scheme further explained that only corps members who have successfully fulfilled all national service obligations would be awarded their Certificates of National Service.

The Director-General of the NYSC, Brig.-Gen. Olakunle Nafiu, wished the outgoing corps members a smooth winding-up and passing-out process.

He also encouraged them to continue upholding the ideals of the scheme and serve as worthy representatives of the NYSC in their future pursuits after service.
