The Nigerian artiste manager, Ubi Franklin, has said legal steps will be taken against individuals accused of bullying Davido and his wife Chioma Adeleke on social media.

In a recent post on X, Franklin, who works closely with Davido, shared screenshots allegedly from a WhatsApp group named “TSM lovers,” believed to be linked to supporters of Sophia Momodu.

In the alleged messages, some members claimed that Chioma married Davido using “love charm” and made remarks about the death of her child.

“Yes. David was under love charm from Chioma and one thing people don’t know is whatever wrong you do, it backfires. That innocent boy’s death was too suspicious of many wrong doings but many people don’t know what the mother must have put her eyes into,” the message reads.

The messages also included comments about Folasade Adeleke, with some users employing derogatory language.

Franklin described those behind the comments as “evil, wicked and bitter,” criticising what he called deliberate efforts to create platforms to target Chioma.

“You know people are evil right? The message I see on this group chat is just. And then people say humans aren’t wicked or bitter,” he wrote.

“Imagine having enough time and energy to create groups just to bully a woman who has done absolutely nothing to you. Chioma is not anyone’s problem and she is not in anyone’s business.”

He warned that those responsible would be held accountable, noting that the family is ready to pursue legal action.

“One after the other, you will explain to the law enforcement what Chef chi has done to all of you, just keep opening groups to bully her, her Husband, Me as her manager and the entire family has your time now and we will follow the rules and you will be served,” he wrote.

Davido and Sophia Momodu, the mother of his daughter Imade, are currently involved in a legal dispute over the child’s custody.

Recently, Sophia’s lawyer filed a suit against the singer, alleging harassment, cyberbullying, and threats to her life.
