Award-winning Barbadian-American singer and songwriter, Robyn ‘Rihanna‘ Fenty has stated that despite becoming renowned through music, it was not God’s intention for her.
The wealthy entrepreneur gave a speech on Thursday at the Fenty Beauty brand launch in Barbados, where she is from.
“Music was the thing that got the attention, but God had other plans for me, and I was able to create in ways that were very sincere, genuine, organic and authentic to the things that I love,” she said.
Forbes certified Rihanna a billionaire a few years ago after her net worth crossed the one billion dollar mark.
Earnings from her makeup brand, Fenty Beauty formed the bulk of her net worth, and earnings from record sales and tours also contributed to her net worth.
