Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede has continued to speak up about her failed marriage to Olakunle ‘Abounce’ Fawole, and how his tendency of keeping malice for extended times was a deal breaker.

The mother of one revealed the reasons behind her marriage’s collapse in a recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast.

When Yvonne Jegede and her husband disagree about anything, he tends to withdraw himself; this might last for weeks at a time.

She gave the example of how, during the three weeks she was expecting their kid, her husband’s resentment drove her to pack up her belongings and head to her parents’ place. He never did inquire about her welfare while she was abroad, not even at that.

Yvonne Jegede said in part:

“Most times when we had issues, I don’t know how to keep malice or walk out, come back and not talk to you. But he had A1 in malice and that was what ended the marriage. We kept malice for three weeks and I was pregnant in the same house and I packed my bags for my father’s house.

“Despite being pregnant, he won’t even call me till midnight to know where i took his pregnancy to,”

In a similar story, Yvonne Jegede confessed that she left her marriage because she was making more money than her ex-husband, Olakunle ‘Abounce’ Fawole.

In February 2018, Abounce, the late actress Bukky Ajayi’s son, wed Yvonne in a modest but elegant ceremony in Lagos.
On the production of Tade Ogidan’s well-known drama series “Behind the Siege,” the couple first became together in 2004.
Regretfully, Yvonne disclosed in March 2019 that their one-year marriage had failed three months after the couple’s kid was born.
In a preview for the next episode of “The Honest Bunch” podcast, the actress from “Okafor Law” expressed her remorse for deciding on love over money.

She stated that her ex-husband taking every joke as disrespect because he was older than her was also part of the reason for their divorce.
