A close aide to Afrobeat sensation Davido, Israel Afeare, also known as Israel DMW, is still very much saddened by his failed marriage to Sheila Courage.
Remember that Israel announced his divorce from his wife in 2023? He claimed that she had deceived him, as well as her family, particularly her mother, and that she had fled their marriage as soon as she gained notoriety.
Additionally, he said that Sheila was making fun of him and called him a “slave” for working for Davido, and that he was embarrassing her by being subservient to his boss.
Sheila refuted all of the accusations, though, and Israel persisted in confronting her.
Israel continued his verbal assault on Sheila on Tuesday, pouring a torrent of insults upon her while posting pictures from their wedding celebrations on Instagram.
The logistics manager for Davido disclosed that his mother-in-law tried to control him but he steadfastly refused, which is why his marriage failed.
He said that Sheila was convinced to move to her friend Ginika’s house by his mother-in-law, who he said is a prostitute.
He wrote: “Sheila Courage, it will never be well with you morning and night. Any business you lay ur hands as an influencer is CURSED. That business begins to into problems immediately. Any man who touches you Slumps and Dies in the afternoon. Let me also ones again thanks those who travelled far away to Benin to honour me.
“Can’t forget dis day in my lifetime. You all must get JUSTICE. What happened in my marriage was never any case⁷ of Assault, Infidelity or any form of abuse at all. It was a pure case of a Calabar mother-in-law wanting to extend the control of her husband to me, which I fully declined. A mother in law who saw her daughter in marriage as a quick means of getting rich than safety and rest of mind.
