Kai Cenat donates $2,800 to construct school in Makoko, Lagos

Well-known American YouTuber and streamer Kai Cenat has contributed $2,800 to the establishment of a new school in the Makoko slum of Lagos.

Michael Oyiga, a well-known humanitarian and influencer, revealed the kind gesture.

Kai Cenat choose Makoko as his first destination on his recent trip to Nigeria.

He interacted with the kids during his visit and stated that he wanted to help the neighbourhood.

True to his word, he pledged a substantial sum to aid in the improvement of educational facilities in the area.

Michael Oyiga took to Twitter to share an update on Kai Cenat’s charitable contribution.

He revealed that the building project, funded by the American YouTuber, has commenced just two weeks after the donation was made.

“Two weeks ago, Kai Cenat came to one of the schools I’ve been looking out for in the slums of Lagos and donated $2,800 for a new building. 3.9 million Naira,” Oyiga wrote.

“Today, the building construction has started. Just wanted to update everyone. For posterity sake.”

Recall that Kai Cenat recently visited Nigeria for the first time after being invited by Davido.

He was taken on a tour of Lagos by Shaks Comics, a content creator, which Makoko was one of the community he visited while on his visit.
