Renowned actor and broadcaster, Patrick Doyle, is set to celebrate his traditional wedding with Funmilayo on Thursday, as indicated by images shared by the bride on her Instagram profile on Wednesday. She disclosed that the traditional ceremony is scheduled for December 14th.
The pair was seen in the pictures wearing traditional Igbo and Yoruba clothing. She wrote, “We put a traditional seal on our marriage tomorrow. One year later and I still love you to bits Ete Doyle. Everyone, I made a beautiful bride.”
In August 2022, Funmilayo shared a video capturing their courthouse wedding.
Doyle said in March that his new spouse had taken up the role of “my mother, friend, and partner for life”. He further stated, “Never been happier in all my life.”
In 2004, Patrick entered into matrimony with actress Ireti. Unfortunately, their marriage crumbled, and in January, Ireti formally declared her separation from Patrick.
The actress declared, “We are officially divorced. As an adult, certain situations are far beyond your control; it’s not always a matter of life or death. In all honesty, I had no business getting married at that point, let alone… Let’s not even discuss the decision of my spouse.”
