Rapper and singer Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, better known by his stage name Odumodublvck, has defended well-known Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) pastor Enoch Adeboye.

On Sunday, February 11, the General Overseer of the RCCG stated that spiritual remedies are needed to address the nation’s security and socioeconomic issues.

He said that although the political elite of the country has made every effort to find answers, Nigeria still requires divine intervention.

He disclosed this to Uba Sani, the state governor of Kaduna, during their meeting at the Government House in Kaduna.

In his defence, Odumodublvck pointed out that the clergyman never insulted anyone on the app.

He highlighted the contrast with the behaviour of Muslims, who, according to him, refrain from dragging or insulting their clerics on social media.

He Christians frequently lament perceived disrespect toward their faith, saying that many individuals wouldn’t dare speak to their parents in the same manner they address Pastor Adeboye.

He said: “Pastor Adeboye never insulted anyone on this app. You do not see Muslims come out to insult their clerics. Then later we complain that our religion is being stepped on. Even based on age. Una no fit follow una papa talk the way una dey follow Adeboye talk. And e senior una papa and una mama. That’s why I never rated you niggas on this app. Una double standards choke. Industry machine.”
