While delivering fuel to a Conoil station in Abuja’s Area 10, a tanker carrying Petrol caught fire.
According to sources, the fire began around 3:35 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, while the tanker was attempting to unload its cargo, and some of the fuel spilt.
While no lives have been reported lost thus far, although a couple of cars that had been affected by the flames and burned.
As of the time of filing this report, traffic to the area has been blocked by officers of the Nigerian Police and the Federal Road Safety Corps, while men of the Federal and Army Fire Service battle to quench the raging flames.
