The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board has published the names of candidates who successfully passed the computer-based recruitment examination conducted in late 2025.
The announcement was made on Saturday in Abuja by the board’s Secretary, retired Major General Abdulmalik Jibril. The recruitment exercise covers several agencies, including the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, the Nigerian Correctional Service, the Federal Fire Service, the Nigeria Immigration Service, and the board itself.
Jibril said candidates who met the requirements in the examination stage would advance to physical screening and verification of their credentials as part of the ongoing recruitment process.
He directed applicants who participated in the CBT to visit the official recruitment portal between June 15 and June 20 to check whether they have been shortlisted.
“Applicants are required to log in using the application number generated at the time of initial registration.
“Shortlisted applicants are required to upload their credentials, select a date and venue of their choice for physical screening.”
He encouraged candidates to carefully adhere to all instructions provided on the portal to avoid disqualification.
The board also warned applicants against falling victim to fraudsters, stressing that the recruitment process does not require any payment at any stage. Candidates were advised not to patronise individuals or groups claiming they could influence shortlisting, screening arrangements or final selection.
“The general public is advised to ignore fake recruitment messages, fraudulent links and unauthorised persons claiming to represent the board.
“Kindly note that all official updates shall be communicated through the CDCFIB recruitment portal, as well as approved official communication channels,” he said.
Jibril added that the board remains committed to conducting a fair, transparent and merit-based recruitment exercise in line with established procedures.
