Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi has scored his first English Premier League goal for Fulham against Wolves at the Craven Cottage on Monday, November 27.

During the summer, the Nigerian international made the move to Fulham from Everton and has been eager to secure his inaugural goal for the London club in the Premier League.

Although the former Arsenal star did manage to notch his first official goal for Fulham in the Carabao Cup against Norwich City.

In a video circulated on social media, Iwobi found the back of the net for the first time in the game between Fulham and Wolves at Craven Cottage.

In the seventh minute of the match, the Super Eagles midfielder capitalized on a cut-back from USMNT left-back Antonee Robinson.

Shortly after, former Atletico Madrid striker Matheus Cunha equalized, but the home side regained the lead through a goal from Willian.

Despite Hwang Hee-Chan’s 75th-minute penalty appearing to secure a point for the visitors, a late goal from former Chelsea winger Willian ensured all three points for Marco Silva’s team, as reported by Soccerway.

Alex Iwobi, alongside fellow countryman Calvin Bassey, played the entire duration of the match.

With this victory, Fulham has climbed to 14th place on the English Premier League table and aims to secure maximum points in their upcoming league game against Liverpool at Anfield.
