Paris St-Germain (PSG) secured their spot in the French Cup final by defeating Rennes, with Kylian Mbappe’s goal proving decisive.

Mbappe found the bottom corner with a deflected shot in the 40th minute, sealing the victory.

However, earlier in the match, his penalty was saved by Rennes goalkeeper Steve Mandanda, who also managed to tip Mbappe’s shot onto the bar in the 13th minute.

The PSG forward, who is set to depart for Real Madrid in the summer, is in his final season with the club.

His goal not only propels PSG into the final, providing an opportunity to add to their 14 French Cup titles, but it also keeps alive their pursuit of a potential Treble, including Ligue 1 and the Champions League, where they are set to face Barcelona in the quarter-finals.
