Nigeria’s Chiamaka Nnadozie has claimed the 2025 CAF Goalkeeper of the Year (Women) award, marking her third consecutive triumph in the category.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper received the honour on Wednesday during the 2025 CAF Awards ceremony in Rabat, Morocco.

Nnadozie outperformed Morocco’s Khadija Er-Rmichi and South Africa’s Andile Dlamini to secure the accolade, further solidifying her position as the continent’s leading goalkeeper.

Nnadozie delivered an outstanding year for both club and country. With Paris FC, she played a crucial part in winning the Coupe de France Féminine, and for the Super Falcons, she was instrumental in their record-setting 10th WAFCON victory, keeping four clean sheets and earning recognition as the tournament’s best goalkeeper.

After WAFCON, she moved to Brighton & Hove Albion in the Women’s Super League, where she made an immediate impression with a Player of the Match debut and received multiple nominations, including WSL Save of the Month and PFA Fans’ Player of the Month.

Nnadozie’s most recent CAF award strengthens her growing reputation and highlights her as one of the brightest stars in women’s football today.
