Noni Madueke scored his first goal for Arsenal as the Gunners defeated Bayern Munich 3-1, preserving their 100% record in the “Champions League.”

Arsenal controlled the match from the start and opened the scoring in the 22nd minute when Jurrien Timber headed in Bukayo Saka’s corner—marking the 10th goal Arsenal have scored from corners this season, more than any other team in Europe’s top five leagues.

Bayern responded after conceding, leveling the score 10 minutes later. Joshua Kimmich sent a crossfield pass to Serge Gnabry, who then played the ball across the area for 17-year-old Lennart Karl to score from close range.

It was the first goal Arsenal had conceded in this season’s competition, but they remained undefeated with five wins from five.

England winger Madueke put the Gunners back in front when substitute Riccardo Calafiori delivered a powerful cross into the box, which he helped into the net.

The victory was sealed when north London derby hero Eberechi Eze floated a pass over the defense, allowing Gabriel Martinelli to round goalkeeper Manuel Neuer—who was out of position—and score, giving Bayern Munich their first loss of the season.
