American hip-hop artist, Cardi B has stated that she does not intend to give up music anytime soon, despite her tendency to put things off.
In response to controversial rapper-turned-podcaster Joe Budden’s assertions that she wouldn’t be putting out another album, the rapper made this statement.
Cardi accused Budden of doing drugs, and she lashed out at him for questioning the way her project was being implemented.
The Grammy winner said that Budden has been criticising her in public and even setting up rival female rappers.
She berated the podcaster for targeting her despite giving him “a lap dance two times in Starlets” when he was “high as f**k on coke” during her days as an erotic dancer.
Speaking in a recent X space with fans, Cardi B declared:
“I’m not a quitter. I might procrastinate, but I’ll never quit music. Not letting these b*tches take my bags!”
In a different story, Cardi B talks candidly about how her career was significantly impacted by her fear of social media reaction.
Cardi spoke up about her challenges, her inner problems, and how she overcame the anxiety that threatened to stifle her creativity and success in an open conversation with Complex 360 with Fast Series.
During the talk, Cardi B—who is well-known for her positive outlook and outspoken manner—showed a more vulnerable side.
Cardi B said that, in spite of her enormous fan base and followers, the constant barrage of unfavourable remarks and abuse on social media has a severe detrimental impact on her, deterring her from pursuing her passion and personal life.
According to her, the pressure to always produce hits and maintain a specific image put her in a state of anxiety.
